Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The customer information says payment is due within 16 days after the monthly bill is issued. It does not state a separate grace period after that due point before delinquency action.
Late-fee calculation
The current Texas tariff lists a one-time $5.00 late charge on a delinquent bill, which may not be applied again to a balance that already received the penalty. The tariff also lists a $25 insufficient-payment charge when supported by documented cost and a $25 reconnection fee after nonpayment.
Disconnection timeline
The verified customer document establishes a monthly bill mailed around the 25th, payment due within 16 days after issuance and termination for nonpayment after the account becomes delinquent, but does not publish an exact day-by-day warning-to-field-shutoff calendar. Customers should call the business office before the due date or immediately after receiving a delinquency notice.
