Effective October 1, 2025 for a 5/8-by-3/4-inch meter, the water fixed charge is $9.03, volume is $1.43 per 1,000 gallons for 0–3,000 gallons, $1.98 for 4,000–10,000, $3.94 for 11,000–20,000, $7.87 for 21,000–30,000, and $15.70 above 30,000. Residential wastewater is $19.33 fixed plus $4.39 per 1,000 gallons, with a 14,000-gallon single-family/mobile-home maximum; a $3 monthly cross-connection fee and public-service tax may apply.

The combined estimate is approximately $58.56 before the $3 cross-connection fee where applicable and before Florida public-service tax. - Orange County wastewater uses a $19.33 fixed monthly charge for a common 5/8-by-3/4-inch meter plus $4.39 per 1,000 gallons for residential water consumption, with a single-family/mobile-home maximum of 14,000 gallons and a multifamily 2–4-unit maximum of 25,000 gallons. The County encourages a separate irrigation meter because water used on a lawn then avoids the higher wastewater charge. Reclaimed-water and commercial wastewater schedules differ and are published separately.

- Orange County Utilities reads water meters every 28–35 days and reports more than 2.76 million water meter readings in its annual county review. The public online platform provides consumption history and customer notification preferences, while the County’s conservation programs offer smart irrigation timers and remote management. Current customer pages do not identify a universal AMI vendor or promise hourly water-meter transmission for every account.
- New-account deposit
- Residential deposits are $41 for water-only service, $135 for combined water and wastewater, and $19 for reclaimed-water service. A $16 initiation fee applies during regular business hours or $21 during nonbusiness hours; initiation fees are not refunded. Deposits earn interest, which is applied to the monthly bill, and are credited after a consecutive 12-month period with no more than two late payments, no dishonored checks/debit drafts, and no late-payment service interruption. If held at closure, the deposit and accrued interest are applied to the final bill.
- Activation or transfer fee
- Home service can be started by calling (407) 836-5515 or using the Utilities Online Account; the County asks customers to contact it at least three days before service is needed. The initiation fee is $16 during regular business hours or $21 during nonbusiness hours, in addition to the applicable water-only, combined water/wastewater, or reclaimed-water deposit. Temporary turn-on/turn-off service is $12 regular hours or $17 nonbusiness hours. Stop requests can be made online, by phone for home service, or in writing with a forwarding address.
